Terms and conditions

These terms are a contract between you and Abdelrahman Moustafa, the individual seller operating Anvil (anvilpaper.com). By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

Anvil turns a client brief into a structured specification, an architecture, component requirements, sourced or unresolved prices, a labour estimate and a DOCX proposal. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan.

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction, or have authority to bind the organisation you act for, to use the service.

Engineering responsibility

Every output is a draft for review. AI-generated specifications, component requirements, hours and risks are suggestions. Distributor prices, stock and lead times are time-sensitive third-party data.

You, the sending engineer, are responsible for verifying the technical content, the compliance of the design and the commercial commitment before issuing any proposal to a client. Anvil provides no certification, sign-off or warranty of fitness for a particular design.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. This includes unlawful use, fraud or spam, infringement of intellectual property rights, and any interference with the security or operation of the service (including introducing malware, probing or scanning the service, or scraping it).

Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, scrape distributor data through the service, resell or redistribute the service, circumvent technical limits, reverse engineer the service, or upload content you do not have the right to process.

You are responsible for the prompts and briefs you submit, how you use the outputs, verifying their accuracy, and ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload. Do not use the AI features to generate illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech or malware, or to attempt to bypass model safeguards.

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant the seller a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the service.

Intellectual property

The seller retains ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including the software, documentation and branding. These terms grant no rights to the service except the limited licence above.

If you believe content processed through the service infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and, where appropriate, remove or restrict it. Repeated infringement may lead to account suspension.

Accounts and credentials

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it updated. You must maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and are responsible for all activity under your account.

Plans, payment and subscriptions

The Free plan is permanent and capped at 2 proposals per month with a watermarked export. Paid plans are billed monthly, renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms). Refunds are handled as described in our Refund policy.

Accuracy of AI outputs

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. It is not suitable as a substitute for qualified professional engineering judgement or regulated professional advice without review by a qualified person. We may moderate, remove or restrict content, filter outputs, and suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Availability and warranties

The service depends on third-party AI, distributor and hosting providers and may be interrupted. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding twelve months, and we exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

You indemnify the seller against claims arising from content you upload, unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

When your account ends, your proposals and uploaded files are deleted or anonymised. You may request an export of your data before closure by contacting us.

General

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the seller's jurisdiction, and disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

You may not assign these terms without our consent. The seller may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
